Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia / Malezja (17-18.07.2014)

I took a bus from Semporna to Kota Kinabalu which took like 11 hours but it was OK. KK is nothing special just the town where either you arrive or leave Borneo. You can also go from here to the mountains to climb the Mt. Kinabalu the highest pick 4095 m - I was thinking about that but the price for this scared me away. For me it will be just a point of leaving Malaysia which happens tomorrow (19.07.2014)

The only thing I like in here was the fish market

Z Semporny pojechałem do Kota Kinabalu autobusem - jedyne 11 godzin ale całkiem spoko. KK to stolica prowincji ale nic specjalnego. To miejsce gdzie ludzie albo przylatują albo wylatują z Borneo. Można z tąd także wybrać się na najwyższy szczyt Górę Kinabalu - 4095 m - myślałem o tym ale cena mnie zniechęciła.

Dla mnie to będzie miejsce opuszczenia Malezji co się wydarzy jutro (19.07.2014)

Jedyne co tu mi się podobało to bazar rybny - zacny

One more thing - I finally try this Chinese duck which you can see hanging in the windows in many shops or restaurants. It was not bad.

I jeszcze jedno - w końcu spróbowałem tej chińskiej kaczki którą często widać za oknami knajp czy straganów - Całkiem spoko

Semporna, Malaysia/ Malezja

Semporna Town like for the well known tourist location is really dirty and ugly. It's special because of the islands around and the villages on the water but town itself is very disappointing.

Miasteczko Sempona jak na bardzo znaną miejscówkę turystyczną jest niesamowicie brudna i brzydka. Niewątpliwie jest to szczególne miejsce ze względu na otaczające je wyspy oraz te wioski na wodzie ale sama w sobie to porażka

Place is ugly but you can definitely see the genuine market. In the evening when they bring the afternoon catch and sell it - it is quite a sight.

Miasteczko jest okropne ale mają tam prawdziwy, lokalny bazar. Wieczorem kiedy rybacy przywożą złowione ryby i inne stworzenia wygląda zacnie

I had a widow overlooking the port and from there you could watch the daily catch and all the sorting sometime selling off the boat

Miałem okno na port wiec mogłem oglądać codzienne połowy oraz ich sortowanie a czasem bezpośrednią sprzedaż prosto z łódki

Sipabuan Island, Semporna, Malaysia / Wyspa Sipabuan, Semporna, Malezja (16.07.2014)

For the second trip I have chosen the Sipabuan island, it looked like the perfect island just palm tries and the sand with this sand peer showing up and diapering when tides come and go. It looked on the pictures like deserted island but in fact there is a village there with few huts and the military post. And this military post is kind of scary - soldiers with long guns on the tourist attraction - well weird - difficult to feel safe.

Na drugą wycieczkę wybrałem wyspę Sipabuan. Na zdjęciach wyglądała na doskonałą wysepkę palmy i piach ze swego rodzaju odnogą która jest albo jej nie ma w zależności od pływów. Wyglądała na opuszczoną ale kiedy tam dotarliśmy okazało się że jest tam mała wioska i posterunek wojskowy. Żołnierze z karabinami, posterunek z worków piasku - no kiepski widok jak na atrakcję turystyczną

When you get there you need to register and you are not allowed to go to the village. Island is nice though.

Kiedy dopłynęliśmy na wyspę musieliśmy się zarejestrować i zabroniono nam zbliżać się do wioski. Sama wyspa naprawdę ładna

Snorkeling spot where incredible and once again we had a chance to see turtles and Nemos. We did like hourly session which was quite exhausting especially the last one when the current got real strong

Miejsca gdzie snorkowaliśmy były niesamowite i znowu widzieliśmy żółwie i Nemo. Mieliśmy godzinne pływania które dały nam nieźle w kość a szczególnie ostatnia kiedy prądy morskie się nasiliły

Mabul & Kapalai Islands, Semporna, Malaysia / Wyspy Mabul i Kapalai, Semporna, Malezja (14-17.07.2014)

From Kuala Lumpur I went to Semporna on Borneo island. There are beatufil islands and famous diving and snorkeling spots around there. I was hoping to stay in one of the hotel on the see but all was booked up so I have stayed in town and taking daily trips. First trip was to Mabul and Kapalai islands. First we get to the diving place on Mabul from where we have been taken to the diving and snorkeling spots on Mabul and the last one was on Kapalai island

Z Kuala Lumpur poleciałem do Semporny na Borneo. Są tu piękne wyspy oraz jedne z lepszym miejsc do nurkowania a także do snorkowania. . Miałem nadzieje zamieszkać w jednym z tych hoteli na wodzie ale niestety nie było nic wolnego w przyzwoitych cenach dlatego też zamieszkałem w miasteczku i brałem całodniowe wycieczki na wyspy. Pierwsza wycieczka była na wyspy Mabul i Kapalai. Z miasteczka popłynęliśmy do centrum nurkowego i stamtąd zabierali nas na zacne miejsca na Mabulu i ostatnie pływanie było na Kapalai

Kapalai Island - you can see the land only when the tide is low otherwise is just the huts on the see

Wyspa Kapalai - wyspa choć ląd można tylko zobaczyć podczas odpływu a tak to po prostu chatki na wodzie

Coral reef is quite nice here but for me the best were turtles. There are quite many of them here and this is a great view and fun chasing them - incredible creatures. Some of them a small but there are a huge one here too, and this is amazing sight.

Rafa koralowa jest tu całkiem zacna ale jak dla mnie najfajniejsze były żółwie. Jest tu ich całkiem sporo i jest to niesamowity widok i super zabawa próbując je gonić - niesamowite stworzenia. Niektóre są średnich rozmiarów takie normalne ale są tu także ogromne żółwie i to jest wspaniały widok.

Can you see 2 turtles here? I was not sure in the first place as it was deep and the water was not very clear but then I dive and they got scared and move on. and These two was the huge one - incredible sight

Widzicie tu dwa żółwie? Ja ich na początku też nie zauważyłem bo były głęboko i woda była dość mętna ale zanurkowałem i żółwie się wystraszyły i zaczęły uciekać, A to były te ogromne żółwie - niesamowity widok

The people who live in the houses on the water depend on the see so you can see them fishing around and when the tide is low they collect anything which can be eaten.

Ludzie którzy mieszkają w domkach na morzu żywią się tym co złowią albo uzbierają podczas odpływów. A zbierają dosłownie wszystko co tylko da się zjeść
